Head of ANRI
PROFILE
Born in Biak, he is an alumnus of the Master’s Program in Electrical Engineering at Ehime University in Ehime, Japan, and the Doctoral Program in Engineering at Shinshu University in Nagano, Japan. Before being appointed Head of ANRI on January 21, 2025, he served as Deputy for Development Policy at the National Research and Innovation Agency. Among the awards he has received is the SATYALANCANA KARYA SATYA XXX Medal of Honor.
TASK AND FUNCTION
1. The Head has the following duties:
a. To lead ANRI in accordance with the provisions of the legislation;
b. To establish national policies and general policies in accordance with ANRI’s duties;
c. To establish technical policies for the implementation of ANRI’s duties under his responsibility; and
d. To foster and implement cooperation with other agencies and organizations.
2. In addition to the duties referred to in section (1), the Head of ANRI performs other duties in accordance with legislation.
